Public Forum on Organic Agriculture Standards

13 December 2006, Nairobi, Kenya

The Public Forum was a larger event that presented the East African Organic Standard to regional stakeholders, international participants and the public and also gave participants a better understanding of the international context for organic standards, certification and regulations. Invited participants included decision makers in the area of agriculture, trade and standardisation, leaders in the organic sector in Africa and regional and international organisations active in East Africa.
