Environment ministers and their senior officials have been invited to participate during the ministerial segment of the meeting. Main objectives of the Ministerial Meeting: - Provide a platform for environment ministers and senior officials from developed and developing countries, intergovernmental organisations and non-governmental organisations to discuss areas of mutual concern in the environment, development and trade debate. - Enhance awareness on trade and environment linkages and implications for sustainable development. - Propose suggested action to promote synergies and mutual supportiveness of the trade and environment regimes.
