The Report on Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) in South Eastern Europe and Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia is a joint initiative of the UN Environment Program (UNEP) and the European Environment Agency (EEA), prepared as a Category II document for the Environment for Europe Ministerial Conference that was held in Belgrade from 10 to 12 October 2007. Activities under the project included initial awareness raising and consultation meetings: Baltic sub-regional workshop held in Lithuania in June 2004; and a Russian national workshop in Moscow in May 2004. These workshops contributed to the preparatory process for a Wider Europe Stakeholder conference in October 2004 co-organised by the EU and UNEP. The South East European workshop was held in December 2005, followed by an NGO capacity building workshop in June 2006.
